  The hotel sits above the Usk and Hondu rivers with great views of The Brecon Beacons National Park. I attended a birthday lunch held in the ballroom. The hotel suffers a little from faded splendour of another era but the meal was excellent. To cook lamb just right for that many people was very skilful. The staff were extremely helpful throughout.
